You are able to see all missed messages while you were gone, as they will be viewable in the archives.
What is the email address to post to the listserv?
listserv@oregoncounselorsandtherapists.com
(Note: there is no “e” in listserv)
What if there’s too much email for my inbox?
There are a couple options to get listserv posts out of your inbox. You may create an email folder to directly filter posts.
You may also change your delivery setting to “pause all messages” so they stop coming to your inbox. If you opt to do this, you can check the daily posts by logging into gaggle.email. If you do not yet have an account set up, it would require setting up an account at gaggle.email. Don’t forget to set up your email signature!
I’m trying to log in or post and it’s not working, why?
The listserv will ONLY recognize the email address you signed up with, or if you changed it, the last one you changed. Check to be sure you’re logging in from the email that’s associated with the listserv.
What happened to all my listserv email?
If you’re no longer receiving listserv email, this could happen for a few different reasons:
1. Your email delivery settings are on pause.
2. You have unsubscribed from the listserv. This can occasionally be accidental, we verify when this happens.
3. You’ve been removed after 4 email attempts to update your payment and no renewal payment has been made.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Can practice managers and owners use an admin on their email? Can anyone share an email account?
Listserv accounts are for individual practicioners. They are not to be shared or signed by anyone. This includes any assistants, administrators, office managers, etc.
Can I have more than one listserv account?
No. The listserv is for individual practicioners and all are assigned one account.
What are archived posts?
The listserv has archives that include all postings of every email that have been sent through the listserv since it began in January 2020. All current members have access to this listserv archives at any time.
Since all messages posted are saved, this allows members to come back at any time to search for past posts and topics that may have been deleted in their personal email accounts. Now members can find the original email post(s) quickly and easily. The “archives” are not labeled as archives, but are labled “messages” that date back to the beginning of the group. Therefore, they create an archive.

Attachments for groups, CEs and templates can be found here.
What’s in the Footer?
The footer is below every listserv post that gives you helpful information and links including how to add new members, how to update payment information, change account info and other helpful notices. Scroll below on any post to find the footer information.
Why no repeated postings for solicitation of fee based services?
The listserv was selected is because it has a searchable archive. Once something is posted, it stays! Therefore, there is no need to repost the same email or offering, because it remains viewable in the archives. If a member has posted to the listserv, it only needs to be done once, unless there are updates to the posting. Again, this is because everything that posted is viewable at any time. This is a policy to curb repeated postings of the same thing, because we have the archives for members to search for what they are looking for. Repeated postings are okay if there are changes to past posts.
May I make repeated posts where there is no response?
Repeating a post in search of a client referral due to lack of a response is okay. Repeating a post for a no fee consult group, or similar types of posts where there has not been any response is also okay.

Client referrals are frequently shared on the listserv. It is our responsibility to keep the information to a minimum to protect clients. Referrals should be treated in the following manner: Referrals should be limited to minimum details about the need and should never include any protected health information. Do not copy and paste what a client states, or forward their email to the listserv, even with client permission.
